What is Jen's color?

Evan's Color

You're blue — the most soothing shade of the spectrum. The color of a clear summer sky or a deep, reflective ocean, blue has traditionally symbolized trust, solitude, and loyalty. Most likely a thoughtful person who values spending some time on your own, you'd rather connect deeply with a few people than have a bunch of slight acquaintances. Luckily, making close friends isn't that hard, since people are naturally attracted to you — they're soothed by your calming presence. Cool and collected, you rarely overreact. Instead, you think things through before coming to a decision. That level-headed, thoughtful approach to life is patently blue — and patently you!

Baseball Game

The following is a poetic rendition of Mel and I's first Rockies game:

They beat the Mets
7-1.
Back to back homers in the fifth.
Even the pitcher got two hits.

Beer consumption.
A throng of
Loud-mouthed drunks.

Ate a large hot dog with slaw.
Left the remains in the stands.
A bag of gummy bears defeated.

Want to chase a fly ball in the checkered grass.

An American Experience.

Jons True Color

Take this test!
Your color is red, the color of racy sportscars, blushing cheeks, and luscious roses. Red symbolizes passion, romance, and love. So, since you're ruled by red, you probably trust your feelings more than your brain and tend to act spontaneously. If you see something you want, you go for it without thinking twice — impulsive is your middle name. You don't wait around for people to make decisions, either; you dive right in. Quite the romantic, you pay close attention to your emotions. In fact, if your heart isn't in what you're doing, you won't be satisfied. Of course, even when you do pour all your energy into the projects you tackle, your impetuous nature means your passions can shift as frequently as the wind. That's why some reds have trouble with commitment. Our advice? Next time you're feeling fickle, think before you act, if possible. You might be surprised at the results. Overall, though, it's great to be red. No one lives life more completely than you do.

Ryan's Color--I think this is about right

Your color is black. The color of night. Serene and mysterious, black conjures up images of elegant evening gowns, dashing tuxedos, and gleaming limousines. Traditionally a symbol of success, black also represents power and an uncompromising demand for perfection. Not surprisingly, you tend to set challenging goals for yourself and do whatever it takes to achieve them — your strength of character is second to none. This unfaltering determination, along with your natural elegance, impresses people. But keep in mind that your personality might be intimidating to some. Try to temper your demanding side with a little softness — trust us, it won't kill you. Overall, though, black is the color of professionalism and achievement, which means it's clearly the color for you.

You're yellow, the color of joy and energy — two things you definitely bring to everyone around you. It's hard for anyone to be sad or lonely in your presence; your sunny disposition and cheery outlook just won't allow it. The warmth of your personality shines through in the kindness you show friends and family (and strangers, too). Always ready with a lighthearted joke or heartfelt compliment, you know how to make people feel good about themselves, so they can't get enough of you. Yellow is a warm and inviting color for a warm and inviting person — you!

this is suppose to describe me, janelle

Take this test!
You're brown, a credible, stable color that's reminiscent of fine wood, rich leather, and wistful melancholy. Most likely, you're a logical, practical person ruled more by your head than your heart. With your inquisitive mind and insatiable curiosity, you're probably a great problem solver. And you always gather all of the facts before coming to a timely, informed decision. Easily intrigued, you're constantly finding new ways to challenge your mind, whether it's by reading the newspaper, playing a trivia game, or composing a piece of music. Brown is an impartial, neutral color, which means you tend to see the difference between fact and opinion easily and are open to many points of view. Trustworthy and steady, you really are a brown at heart.

Janelle just because you put this message into your update about the family reunion,

"NO FIGHTING! We are a family of hot-heads, competitors, instigators, and trouble makers….LEAVE YOUR BITTERNESS OR ANGER BEHIND, LET IT GO, AND DO NOT ROCK THE BOAT!! Let’s all have fun and party together!!" --Janelle

...I'll be bringing my trouble making personality to the reunion.

New Weezer Album

The new Weezer album is out. What is everyone's opinion on it? Personally, I enjoyed it very much. I liked it better than Make Believe, but I think the Blue Album and Pinkerton are still the best Weezer albums.

Family.....

I'm going to get sentimental in this post and I'm sorry if it makes you all uncomfortable. I've been thinking lately about how much I miss my family. I wish I can see everyone more often but it's difficult when you live far away from each other. Ever since I've moved out of the house and ventured to Ogden, UT at the age of 18 I've gained a greater appreciation for all of you. I think we have grown closer through this blog. I like to see what occurs in your daily lives. Let's continue to grow closer. I'm grateful that we are an eternal family and that we can be together forever. Family is important to me and I can't wait to laugh with you all again. I'm very excited to see everyone at the reunion this summer I think it will be fun!

Once again, sorry for the sentiment.

Love, Amy
