Harry Potter world

I thought I would post pictures of Harry potter world for the kids to see. It was everything I hoped for. Bruce and Terry watched Eveyln while we explored the wizarding world of Harry Potter.

Hogsmede Village

The dress that Hermione wore to the Yule Ball. I took this picture for Audrey and Claire.

You could have a 5 minute wand experience, the wand picks you. But it was an hour wait so we didn't do it. The wands also cost $30, it was tempting but I didn't get one.

So crowded. Too many muggles.

Hogwarts castle. There was a great ride there called "Forbidden Journey." While you're waiting in line you tour the castle. It was awesome. During the ride, you get attacked by dementors. I was frightened and screaming but I managed to yell "Expecto Patronum," the spell that repels dementors. I remembered it under pressure.

Our house

Here are some pictures of our house. We are still pulling it together and the builder still needs to landscape.

Christmas plans....

Mom and I are wondering what everyone would prefer to do for Christmas.

There are a few non-negotiable:
1. Grandma Hazel's Christmas eve
2. A pinata (as per mom's request)
3. Mission Impossible Ghost Protocol
4. Lots of food
5. Lots of games
6. Presents
7. A Very Costner Christmas
8. It's A Wonderful Life (You call this a happy family? Why do we have to have all these kids?)

However....

We are wondering what everyone would like to do Christmas eve night and Christmas morning. Do we want to sleep at Huff's house Christmas Eve or sleep at mom's house Christmas eve?

Michael and I are more than happy to have people stay at our home for the duration of your stay, or if people want to stay over here just for Christmas eve....



We obviously have a few kids (& gifts) to worry about, but we would like to be involved in the Christmas morning festivities.

Michael and I bought a (almost) 9 footer fresh Christmas tree this year. It is pretty massive, so we are definitely in the Christmas spirit!
