In the short term, selecting Palin was a stroke of genius. But how will it fare for McCain in the long run? I believe many voters will decide this Thursday. Will Palin be able to present herself in a way that makes people believe that she has a handle on national issues?

Obama is pulling away with a victory, which means that we will all be drawing a paycheck from Federal Government, Inc. for the next 50 years.

Typical cougar. Melanie isn't a democrat, but she also doesn't vote blindly for one party. You need to free your mind of the numbing sonar of Sean Hannity. I'll bet you $50 that when you do, you will see the world a little clearer.

i don't like sean hannity very much, and im not lock step with the republican pary, i vote for the issues. by the way, it is the democrats who cloke the disgusting act of abortion by using the false argument of "choice." the devil has decieved the whole world with the slogan of "pro-choice". putting aside every other issue, obama's radical stance on abortion is sufficient for me to vote for McCain.

palin clearly doesnt have every answer...but the appeal of her is that she is not elitist, which is what i am sick of. mccain & obama are out of touch with a lot of people. dad, thanks for the calls...i am was not mad. i did think it quite hilarious that you compare my 'rebeliousness' to not liking david archie...no hard feelings:)

Palin is smart, articulate and refreshing from the rest of the "pack". She would be for the
"regular" people. She is enthusiastic and an awesome representative of strong women.
It is great to hear from a women of
her integrity and sensitivity to
family, (anti-abortion), energy needs, resonable spending, and yes, the NRA! That is a great line by Bob Hope; which shows that politics doesn't ever seem to change. mom

Wow--I would have never guessed 10 years ago that our family would become so energized by a political debate. We're all into politics! I like Palin but they don't have a prayer. I liked what Jon said about abortion--just because I'm pro-life doesn't mean I want to take control of some other woman's body.
